Requirements

Node.js 18 or higher
npm, yarn, or pnpm

Install

npm install seltz

yarn add seltz

pnpm add seltz

TypeScript Support

The SDK is written in TypeScript and includes full type definitions. No additional @types package is needed.

import { Seltz, SearchResponse } from "seltz";

const client = new Seltz();
const result: SearchResponse = await client.search({ query: "What is TypeScript?", maxResults: 10 });

Get Your API Key

Sign in to the Console
Navigate to Settings → API Keys
Create a new key or copy an existing one

Keep your API key secure. Never expose it in client-side code or commit it to version control.

Environment Variable

Store your API key as an environment variable:

export SELTZ_API_KEY="your-api-key"

The SDK automatically uses SELTZ_API_KEY if no key is provided:

import { Seltz } from "seltz";

// Uses SELTZ_API_KEY environment variable
const client = new Seltz();
